The Ghana Police Service has arrested three persons in connection with a robbery incident which took place at East Legon on August 18.
This followed after an intelligence-led operation in Accra.
According to a statement from the police, the suspects were arrested in a series of coordinated Police operations.
“While suspects Isaac Brena Eshun and Peter Amuzu, were arrested on 21st and 23rd August respectively in Accra, suspect Ibrahim Mohammed was arrested at Tamale on 24th August 2024,” the press release explained.
The Police says exhibits recovered from them include two iPhones, a Mercedes-Benz C180, and three additional vehicles suspected to have been obtained through illegal means.
Investigations have so far revealed that the suspects are part of a criminal syndicate involved in the robbery and sale of stolen vehicles across the country.
However, all the suspects are in police custody assisting the investigation.
