The Member of Parliament for Atiwa East constituency, Abena Osei-Asare has reaffirmed the flagbeareer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia government's unwavering commitment to partnering with faith-based organizations to drive national development agenda.
According to her when given the mandate, Dr. Bawumia's government will continue to support these organizations in building a brighter future for the country with innovative policies and programs.
She made remarks as a Guest Speaker at the Annual Camp meeting of the Akyem Sekyere District Seventh Day Church at Abakoase in the Eastern Region.
It was under the theme: "I will Go: Chosen for the mission".
Addressing the church, the MP who doubles as the minister of state at the Finance ministry encouraged the youth to embrace their mission with all their might, emphasizing the importance of education and responsible citizenship.
"I want to entreat the youth of this church to embrace their mission with their might. I want to also urge them to be responsible citizens and take their education seriously because education is the key to unlocking development," she said
The MP enumerated some government interventions aimed at lessening the burden of the people and encouraged them to make the choice of voting for her and the NPP's presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia in the December, 7 elections.
"We are a government that thinks about the welfare of the people. We're all witnesses to the good policies the government has introduced from free SHS to all the digitalization programs. It will only be appropriate to extend the mandate of our government by voting massively for Dr. Bawumia on December, 7 for more of these programs aimed at lessening the burden of Ghanaians," she explained.
