The Vice President and Flagbearer of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has paid glowing tribute to media practitioners for their committed service to the country.
In a touching move, just before the start of his engagement with the media in Accra on Sunday, Dr. Bawumia asked the audience to rise and pay a minute's silence to media personal who have passed, especially in the line of duty.
"Your job is very important to sustaining our democracy, but it is also a very difficult job," Dr. Bawumia said.
"Sometimes in the process of doing your work, you even lose your life," he added as he called for a minute's silence for those who have died.
