The 6th day of the 2024 Chale Wote Street Art Festival brought together several performing artists at the Blackstar Square in Accra.
On the Sabolai Radio stage were artistes such as Flowking Stone, Dancegod Lloyd, DWP Academy, Saint Z, among others.
The hype MCs, Obiba JK and Kojo Manuel, got the audiences charged up as various acts mounted the stage to entertain the audience on Saturday evening.

This was after they had enjoyed various arts and cultural activities both at the Christianborg Castle and the Osu Township during the day.

The festival ends today with more exciting activities. There will be more musical performances including a special set by legendary guitarist Akablay and his Abiza Band.

While some patrons are enjoying musical performances at the Blackstar Square, the various art exhibitions that started from Monday, will still be going on the streets of Osu and at the Christianborg Castle. Afuabe Collective Street artists will be displaying their murals. Some films will also show at the castle.
According to the Chale Wote Media Team, the 2024 edition explores the history of the place through its origins and an examination of it in relation to its death and the current rebirth of its sacred sciences, long forgotten and buried with the giants. The event will curate a multiplicity of counterhegemonic narratives about this rebirth in their most spectacular form through art and entertainment.

For the second time, The Multimedia Group is the official media partner for the festival. Through its experienced reporters, the media company will give viewers, listeners and readers of its platforms, comprehensive coverage of everything that happens throughout the period.
The Chale Wote Street Art Festival is organised by Accra [dot] ALT, in collaboration with Redd Kat Pictures and Chale Wote Street Art Projekt.

The one-week-long festival which started from Monday, August 19, and will end on Sunday, August 25, 2024.
