Debutants Nsoatreman FC completed a double over Chad's Elect Sport with a 2-0 victory in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup first preliminary round.
The Ghana FA Cup champions had a commanding 3-0 advantage from the first leg and showed no signs of complacency in Saturday's game, played in Cameroon as Elect Sports' stadium in Chad was not approved by CAF.
Walid Fuseini struck first with 10 minutes remaining in the first half, and Stephan Diyou sealed the 5-0 aggregate triumph four minutes from full time.
The historic win advances Nsoatreman to the next round, where Yaw Preko's side will face either Police FC of Rwanda or Algeria's Constantine.
The tie is scheduled to begin from September 15, 2024.
Before then, Nsoatreman will be involved in the Ghana Premier League which kicks off on September 6 as they face Young Apostles in their opener.
