As Ghana's 2024 general elections draw near, SOLIDS FOR JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA, a dynamic political advocacy group led by Nana Pokua Abankwa, is intensifying its support for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama.
During a recent campaign tour in the Greater Accra Region, the group threw its weight behind Mahama's running mate, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, emphasizing her potential to contribute to the nation's progress if elected significantly.
Nana Pokua Abankwa, the Chairperson and Founder of SOLIDS FOR JDM, spoke passionately about the unique strengths that Professor Opoku-Agyemang brings to the table.
Highlighting her extensive educational background, motherly attributes, and steadfast work ethic, Abankwa described her as a virtuous woman whose leadership could be pivotal in steering Ghana towards a brighter economic future.
"Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang is not just an academic; she is a mother, a dedicated professional, and above all, a virtuous woman," said Abankwa. "Her partnership with John Dramani Mahama represents a leadership duo capable of transforming our nation. They understand the struggles of ordinary Ghanaians, and together, they will ensure that women and children are well-positioned for greater heights."
The campaign tour in Greater Accra marked a significant moment for SOLIDS FOR JDM, as the group continues to mobilize grassroots support across the region.
With their focus on promoting Mahama's vision for Ghana, the group aims to extend its influence nationwide. Nana Pokua Abankwa announced plans to expand SOLIDS FOR JDM's activities, including hosting more impactful events that address the needs of communities and foster a sense of unity and purpose among supporters.
"John Mahama's track record speaks for itself," Abankwa stated. "He is a leader who has always prioritized the welfare of the people, and with Professor Opoku-Agyemang by his side, we are confident that Ghana will experience significant economic recovery and social progress. Our message is simple: a vote for John Mahama is a vote for a better future for all Ghanaians."
As the 2024 elections approach, SOLIDS FOR JDM calls on all Ghanaians to embrace change and support the NDC's vision for the country. The group believes that under the leadership of Mahama and Prof Opoku-Agyemang, Ghana can overcome its current challenges and emerge stronger, with enhanced opportunities for women, children, and all citizens.
In the coming months, SOLIDS FOR JDM plans to intensify its outreach efforts, engaging with communities nationwide to promote the NDC's campaign and ensure that its message of hope and change resonates with every voter.
With a strong belief in the transformative power of Mahama's leadership, the group remains committed to advocating for policies that will uplift the lives of Ghanaians and secure a prosperous future for generations to come.
