Edo Queens have been crowned champions of the 2024 WAFU B Women's Champions League Qualifiers following their win over Ainonvi FC.
The Nigerian side recorded a 3-0 win over their Benin opposition in the final which was played at the Stade de la Paix de Bouake on Friday, August 23.
Suliat Abideen opened the scoring for Edo Queens just before the halftime break before Emem Essien doubled the lead after the break.
The Nigerians added a third moments later to wrap up the win and claim the WAFU B title having advanced from Group B.
With their win, Edo Queens will now play in the 2024 CAF Women's Champions League and would hope to be good ambassadors for the WAFU B zone.
