Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall and Afrobeats artiste, Epixode addresses body positivity in his upcoming song ‘Nyash’.
Speaking to JoyNews’ Becky, the Atia hit maker, stated that contrary to varied opinions about the song, it seeks to address body insecurities especially in women.
"This is not the typical dancehall that you know me for, this is more of afro beats mixed with highlife on a different level. It’s basically African music. In this modern times I feel like some women are insecure about how they look, whether the big one or the small one, we just want to tell them that we like it like that," he said.
He added the song is off a new project he’s been working on which is set to take the music scene by storm.
‘Nyash is part of a project were yet to drop, the tittle of the project is SOL album which is Sounds of our Land, so be on the lookout," he noted.
