The 2024/25 season kicked off last weekend, with Ghanaian players expected to play crucial roles for their clubs in the best two leagues in the world: Premier League and La Liga.
Eight Ghanaian players will feature for seven teams this season in the English top flight.
Jeffrey Schlupp has now entered his eleventh successive season in the Premier League with Crystal Palace since his debut in the 2014/15 season with Leicester City.
Schlupp’s Palace teammate, Jordan Ayew, is also in his tenth season after making his Premier League debut for Aston Villa in the 2015/16 season with Aston Villa.
Abdul Fatawu Issahaku is making his debut after helping Leicester gain promotion last season, with Kamaldeen Sulemana making a return with Southampton after they were relegated.
