Thousands of supporters of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) hit the streets of Sekondi-Takoradi, the Western Regional Capital on Saturday, August 17, in a massive health walk to herald its manifesto launch on Sunday, August 18.
The governing party has announced the launch of its 2024 manifesto, set for Sunday, August 18 in Takoradi.
In a statement signed by the NPP General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong on Monday, August 5, he stated that an eleven-member committee has been set up to plan and execute the launch event.
The manifesto promises to focus heavily on job creation and the digitization of the economy.
The health walk ended with speeches from various individuals including the party's vice presidential running mate, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh.
