Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur, Victoria Lebene, has disclosed that she will be a pastor soon.
In an interview with Roselyn Felli on Joy Prime's Changes show, the actress stated that she is currently being scrutinized to be ordained into full time ministry.
"Currently, I'm going through the process of being ordained as a pastor. So, hopefully, by the grace of God, I'm waiting to be ordained," she revealed.
As to the specific date she would be inducted, Mrs. Lebene did not mention it, but she is confident of being ordained, believing that it's a journey that requires proper and thorough grooming regarding the things of God.
Growing up, she said it had been a revelation to her through pastors who prophesied to her mother at a young age.
This made her think she would marry a pastor, but little did she know she would be doing it herself.
"I had that call for a very long time when I was very little. Pastors would tell my mom that her daughter is a woman of God, and I actually thought I was going to marry a pastor to be that kind. Never did I know that it I would toe towards that line where I would particularly be in the middle of the whole picture as a woman of God."
That notwithstanding, she does not have plans to forcefully involve her husband, Eugene Osafo-Nkansah until he willingly joins her.
Asked how she would handle criticism of living with a blogger who engages in secular events, Mrs. Lebene said she is more focused on instilling positive impact on the lives of her children and husband while in ministry.
"It's been a journey. I'll impact my children, my household, and my husband. It's all part of it and makes it more beautiful," she said on the show.
Nonetheless, she has not quit acting because she says it is her first love and will accept roles so as to be able to fuse God-ordained abilities into her character.
