JoyNews Impact Makers Awardee, Samuel Nana Bekai Djirackor, has expressed profound gratitude to several members of parliament from the Upper East Region for their unwavering support and commitment to the Foundation’s mission.
Samuel, who is also the CEO of the Haven of Love Children Foundation said their works have been transformative for communities across the region, received further recognition during a recent courtesy call at Parliament House in Accra.
During the visit, the Foundation’s leadership had the privilege of meeting with Cletus Apul-Avoka, Member of Parliament for Bawku West District; Alalzuuga Akuka, Member of Parliament for Garu Constituency; and Lydia Lamisi Akanvaariba, Member of Parliament for Tempane Constituency. Despite their demanding responsibilities, these distinguished leaders graciously made time to engage with the Foundation's team, offering a warm reception that underscored their genuine interest in the Foundation’s efforts.
The MPs were especially proud to acknowledge the Haven of Love Children Foundation's recent accolade, the JoyNews Impact Makers Award in the Health and Social Welfare category. This prestigious award recognizes the Foundation’s significant contributions to improving the lives of the underprivileged, particularly in the constituencies where these MPs serve. The Foundation’s initiatives have directly impacted the lives of countless individuals in these areas, addressing critical needs in health, education, and social welfare.
Cletus Apul-Avoka, representing Bawku West District, praised the Foundation for its tireless work in his constituency, where many beneficiaries have experienced life-changing support through the Foundation’s programmes. Similarly, Alalzuuga Akuka of Garu Constituency commended the Foundation for its dedication to uplifting the most vulnerable in his district, noting that their efforts are a beacon of hope for many. Lydia Lamisi Akanvaariba of Tempane Constituency also expressed her admiration for the Foundation’s commitment to addressing the pressing challenges faced by her constituents, emphasising that the Foundation’s impact is both deep and lasting.
The MPs extended their heartfelt congratulations to the Haven of Love Children Foundation for winning the JoyNews Impact Makers Award, encouraging the team to continue their vital work.
