In a bid to secure a resounding victory for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, a dynamic political interest group, SOLIDS FOR JDM, is intensifying its grassroots outreach across Ghana.
The group, which was formed with the vision of mobilizing widespread support for the NDC, is making significant strides in regions where the party has historically faced challenges in winning votes.
Nana Pokua Abankwa, the Chairperson and founder of SOLIDS FOR JDM, disclosed that the idea for the group was conceived in 2022, but it wasn't until January 2024 that the group formally launched its operations. "We recognized the need for a grassroots movement that could bridge the gap between the party's leadership and the everyday voter," she explained. "SOLIDS FOR JDM is committed to galvanizing support at the community level, where real change begins."
Although relatively new, SOLIDS FOR JDM has quickly established a reputation for its vigorous support activities. The group has organized a series of health walks, door-to-door campaigns, and other outreach initiatives in the Greater Accra and Volta Regions, as well as other parts of the country. These efforts have been met with enthusiasm from NDC supporters and have helped to solidify the group's presence in key areas.
"Our goal is to reach out to communities where the NDC has previously struggled to gain traction," said Nana Pokua Abankwa. "We are working tirelessly to ensure that every voter understands the importance of electing John Dramani Mahama as our next president. He is a leader who has the welfare of the country at heart and the vision to transform Ghana for the better."
As the 2024 elections approach, SOLIDS FOR JDM is planning to expand its activities and host more life-touching events across the country. The group is calling on all Ghanaians to vote for change, emphasizing that a vote for John Mahama is a vote for a better future for Ghana.
SOLIDS FOR JDM is positioning itself as a vital force in the NDC's campaign, leveraging its grassroots connections to drive support for John Mahama.
With their ongoing efforts and commitment to the party's success, the group aims to play a crucial role in securing a decisive victory in the 2024 elections.
