Hasaacas Ladies suffered defeat in their second game at the ongoing WAFU B Women’s Champions League Qualifiers.
The Ghanaian champions lost 3-0 to Nigeria’s Edo Queens on Wednesday afternoon leaving them on the verge of elimination.
Hasaacas Ladies came into the fixture looking to pick up their first win of the tournament.
However, their Nigerian opponents were stronger in the end as they scored three second half goals to pick up their second win in the tournament.
The Takoradi-based side matched the Nigerians in the opening half of the game but were left crumbling in the second half.
The defeat means Hasaacas Ladies now have just one point from their first two games in the competition after drawing against Omnisports Etincelle in their opener.
Etincelle, in their second game, recorded a 6-1 victory over AS Garde National to go three points clear of Hasaacas Ladies ahead of the final round of fixtures.
Hasaacas face Garde National in their final game which is scheduled for Saturday, August 17.
