Former France forward Thierry Henry says he is living a coaching dream after guiding his country to the final of the men's Olympic Games football event.
France came from behind to beat Egypt in the semifinal of the ongoing Olympics which is being staged in Paris.
Crystal Palace frontman Jean-Philippe Mateta has been crucial for Henry's side scoring three of their last four goals including two against the African side on Monday, August 5.
"I am going, to be honest, I am mainly happy for Team France because when you see everyone picking up medals all over the place, you say to yourself that you can't let them down," said Henry to AFP.
"You don't want to be the team that doesn't win a medal, so at least that is done, and now we will see what colour we get. But honestly, I am living a dream, and I don't want to wake up."
The former Arsenal was put in charge of the Olympics team last year and is on the verge of delivering a gold medal on home soil.
Mateta who has three goals so far in the competition is poised for a repeat of their success in 1984.
"It is a dream to be in the final and I can't wait to be in Paris," said Mateta. "We have been talking about the Games for a year and a half now and finally we get to go to Paris."
France will play France in the final of the tournament at the Parc des Princes on Friday, August 9.
