Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur Yvonne Nelson has debunked rumours of her exit from the movie industry.
In an interview with JoyNews' Nicholas Ekow Yamoah, she assured fans that she is still active in acting, although her attention is currently divided.
The actress says she is currently focusing more energy on her educational institution, Yvonne Nelson's School. She admitted that building the school has been a challenging task, which has temporarily overshadowed her acting and producing career
“No I haven’t quit acting. I have just put more energy into this [my school] because remember that this is not my only school. This is actually the newest school. We have the early years that’s the day care centre, so I have been combining here and there. We have been building this place, it’s hard. Although it’s just the ground floor, the phase but I have been so busy, it just overshadowed acting and producing but I haven’t stopped acting.”
The celebrated actress, also known for her book "I am Not Yvonne Nelson," reveals that despite the challenges of balancing school management, acting, and producing, her experience in production has equipped her for this demanding phase of her career.
'Yvonne Nelson, also the Chief Executive Director of YN Productions has produced movies such as 'The Price', 'Single and Married', 'The Men We Love' 'Fix Us', and 'Sin City'.
She has also acted in films such as '4Play Reloaded', 'Crime to Christ', 'Deadly Passion', 'Deadly Plot', 'Threesome', 'Yvonne's Tears', among others.
