Ghana's Joselle Mensah is out of the Swimming event after finishing 4th in the Women's 50m Freestyle in Heat 5.
Joselle, who was making her debut at the global showpiece having qualified via the wild card entry, completed the race with a time of 26.81s which does not rank among the top 16.
She had clocked a time of 26.52s at the 13th African Games which earned her the qualification for the Olympics.
The 20-year-old is the second swimmer to be eliminated after Harry Stacey and the third Ghanaian athlete at the Olympics following Friday's exit of Rose Yeboah in High Jump.
Five more to go who will compete in the 100m and 4x100m events in the track and field.
