English Championship club, Coventry City, have announced the signing of Ghana forward, Brandon Thomas-Asante.
The 25-year-old joins from fellow Championship side, West Bromwich Albion, on a four-year deal after spending two seasons with The Baggies.
“Coventry City are delighted to announce the signing of Brandon Thomas-Asante from West Bromwich Albion,” the club said in a statement on Thursday, August 1, 2024.
Speaking to the club after the announcement, Asante said, “I can't wait to see the fans and show them what is to come. I've seen the stadium just now and I can't wait to see it bouncing. I want to make sure that this is a season to remember.”
Thomas-Asante emerged as the top goalscorer in all two seasons he has been at West Brom – scoring 9 and then 12 goals in the 22/23 and 23/24 seasons, respectively.
In total, he played 78 games for the Hawthorns side.
