Gospel artist, Benedicta Kumi has released her latest single, "More of You," an Amapiano-inspired gospel track that marks her second release of 2024.
The song became available on streaming platforms on July 20, with a vibrant music video following on July 27.
Produced by Mixman Studios and mastered by Willis Beatz, "More of You" emphasizes living in alignment with God's will and embracing His grace and love. Nonetheless, the song speaks of God's ability to renew and offer second chances.
Meanwhile, Benedicta shared the inspiration behind the song, saying, "I felt a strong call to reach out to youth everywhere, including those in ghettos, with the message of salvation. This song is my way of fulfilling that mission."
According to her, she hopes that the youth in Ghana and beyond will reflect on the song's message for spiritual growth and divine encounters.
Choosing Amapiano, a genre popular among Ghanaian youth and originating from South Africa, Benedicta aims to connect with young listeners and spread her message through a style they love.
"More of You" combines a fresh, danceable beat with a powerful message about walking in God's path.
The song's video, directed by Xbills Ebenezer, features vibrant visuals and well-choreographed dance moves, receiving positive reactions and reviews on YouTube.
Benedicta Kumi, a gospel minister since childhood, has dedicated her life to glorifying God through music. A University of Ghana alumna, she has honed her skills as a vocalist and songwriter, creating melodies that resonate with audiences across generations.
"More of You" is now available on all streaming platforms.
