A newborn baby girl was miraculously rescued after being abandoned by her mother in a bush at Juaso in the Asante Akyem South Municipality of the Ashanti region.
According to eyewitnesses who spoke to Adom News, the abandoned baby was discovered when a resident, who was searching for her goat, heard the faint cries of the baby.
The witness followed the sound and, to her astonishment, discovered the newborn alive in the bush.
The eyewitness immediately alerted nearby residents, who came together to assist in the rescue effort.
The baby was swiftly transported to the Juaso Government Hospital, where she is receiving medical care and treatment.
The Assemblyman for the Juaso Junction Electoral Area, Tani Yaya, confirmed to Adom News that an investigation is underway to locate the baby’s mother.
The community is rallying to support the baby and ensure her safety while the search for her mother continues.
