The Managing Director (MD) of UCS Facility Management Ghana Limited, Yaa Dansowaa Ampofo, has been recognised as the Exemplary Business Leader of the Year award at the 4th National Governance and Business Leadership Awards.
The prestigious awards ceremony, which recognised outstanding achievements in governance, corporate leadership, and industry excellence, was held in Accra on Saturday, July 27.
Ms. Ampofo’s prestigious award is a testament to her outstanding leadership and commitment to excellence in the industry.
Under her guidance, UCS Facility Management Ghana Limited, a subsidiary of the Jospong Group, has consistently delivered exceptional services, earning them a reputation as a leader in the industry.
The company's services also include deep cleaning, facade high-rise cleaning and post-construction cleaning.
The company's dedication to excellence was further acknowledged with the Industry Leadership Award (Janitorial Services), demonstrating its expertise and commitment to delivering high-quality services.
In an interview, the Business Development Manager for UCS Facility Management, Mr. Grant Daniel Quao, shared his thoughts on the award.

He emphasised the importance of the award and UCS's dedication to excellence.

In addition to Yaa Dansowaa Ampofo's award, other Jospong Group subsidiaries were also recognised.
AH Hotel received the Hospitality Industry Award of Excellence (Customer Service), while Medical Waste Services Ltd., received the Excellence in Waste Management Award, Sewerage Systems Ghana Ltd., was named Leadership Team of the Year (Sanitation), and Joseph T.Q Nartey, General Manager of AH Hotel and Conference/Café, received the Exemplary Business Leader of the Year award in the Hospitality category.
Senam Tengey, General Manager of Medical Waste Services Ltd., was recognised as the Business Leader of the Future.
The 4th National Governance and Business Leadership Awards ceremony celebrated outstanding achievements in governance and corporate leadership, attended by prominent business leaders, government officials, and industry experts.
The awards recognised companies and individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation, and commitment to excellence.
