After a two-year hiatus, 3Music Awards is resuming its operations in September 2024.
The announcement of their return was made in Accra on Thursday, July 25, 2024 during a press soiree.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of 3Music Network, Rashidatu Yasmine Abdulai, breaking communication on this mentioned the amount of hard work that has gone into bringing back the scheme.
"Today, I am thrilled to announce the return of 3Music Awards in September," she said.
“After a year-long hiatus, we have reimagined our approach to ensure 3Music Awards celebrates musical excellence and sets new industry standards. The 3Music Awards is more than an event. It is a celebration of creativity, talent and vibrant culture. This year, we are introducing fresh elements to captivate the audience and honour the artists who inspire us. Our renewed commitment is to showcase the best in music and amplify the voices of our artistes creating an inclusive and unforgettable experience,” she added.
Preceding the awards ceremony in September, there will be a nominees event in August.
In the meantime, the Board and the Academy will be going through process towards the nomination for this year's edition.
