Two up and coming artistes, Afiba and Kwaku Hydro have been selected by Celestine Donkor, as winners for her ‘Come and See’ open verse challenge.
Afiba did her rendition in Nzema while Kwaku Hydro rapped in his performance.
As part of completing the purpose of the project, Afiba and Kwaku Hydro have been featured on a remix of ‘Come and See’ which is due for release on July 26, 2024.
In the remix of the song which enjoins people across the world to behold the wonderful things God does for humankind, Celestine comes in with different melodies, still communicating to the theme and proving his versatility in her craft.
The ‘Come and See’ open verse challenge generated a lot of excitement on social media as hundreds of musicians and music lovers proves their musical prowess by doing their verses on the song.
The original ‘Come and See’ song is the second in the series of features that Celestine has lined up with her colleague female gospel artistes in Ghana and beyond.
According to her, the move to feature these artistes is to foster stronger bonds between the other female gospel musicians, something that is hardly seen in the gospel music industry.
