Hearts of Oak and Heart of Lions will go head-to-head in the 2024 edition of the Gbese Mantse Homowo Peace Charity Cup.
The one-off cup game is an anniversary friendly that is played as part of celebrations of the Homowo festival.
This season's contest will be between Hearts and Lions who were both involved in the Ghana Premier League in the 2023/24 season.
The game is scheduled to be played at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, August 11, 2024.
Last year, the game between Hearts and Great Olympics was called off but organisers are willing to ensure the smooth success of the 2024 edition.
Ahead of the much-anticipated fixture, the Organising Committee of the game will hold a press launch on Tuesday, July 23, at the palace of the Gbese Mantse, Ussher Fort, in Accra.
Hearts were recently in action when they lost 2-1 to Asante Kotoko in the inaugural edition of the Democracy Cup.
