The Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) Marketers Association is dispelling the perception of cheating at the pump stations.
It is therefore urging Ghanaians to consume LPG instead of charcoal to protect the environment.
In a release, it urged all consumers to double-check the weight of the quantity of cylinders filled at the pump stations.
“Worried about being cheated? With us, you can watch fiili fiili’ as your cylinder gets filled. Plus, we have weighing scales at every station. So, you can double-check the weight of the quantity filled. That’s trust and transparency guaranteed!”
It mentioned that all 41 LPG companies and 800 stations across the country are 100% operated by indigenous companies. Therefore, patronizing their services will support the growth of indigenous businesses and create more jobs.
It also urged vehicle owners to switch to LPG, especially taxi owners since it’s more environmentally friendly, adding “Go green with LPG and make a difference.
“Remember, when the last tree dies, the last man dies, refill your LPG cylinder at your nearest gas station and help save our forests and environment”.
It concluded by urging all to protect the environment for this generation and the next one.
