Ghana international Abdul Fatawu Issahaku says he is excited for his first taste of Premier League football after completing a switch to Leicester City.
The Black Stars winger returns to the club on a long-term deal signing a five-year contract with the Foxes. Fatawu joins the English side after leaving Sporting CP.
The 20-year-old wide-man has joined in a £14m transfer that will see Leicester fans continue to enjoy his performances.
The Ghanaian was one of Leicester's key players en route to their promotion to the Premier League as he impressed in the Championship.
Following the announcement of the deal, Issahaku said: "I feel amazing. It’s so good to be back and I’m just back to focus again for next season. I feel so much motivation to be in the Premier League. It’s something new to me. I’m going to go hard for that, with the team."
"I can’t wait to see [my team-mates]. I’ve missed them so much. They are like a family now. I didn’t think I’d miss some of them, but when I went away, I was really missing them! I can’t wait to see them."
Fatawu registered seven goals and 13 assists last season under Enzo Maresca.
He improved as the campaign went on and delivered the best individual display of City’s title glory when he scored a hat-trick in a 5-0 demolition of Southampton.
Fatawu is expected to join the squad immediately for pre-season ahead of their Premier League return.
