In an exhilarating Central Regional contest of the 2024 National Public Speaking Competition (NPSC2024), Swedru SHS emerged victorious, securing their place in the semifinals.
The intense competition saw Swedru SHS outperform Adisadel College along with Brakwa SHTS, Assin Manso SHS, and Mankessim SHS, showcasing their oratory prowess.
It was not a smooth sail for Swedru SHS. In the first round of the contest, Brakwa SHTS took an early lead but could not maintain the momentum in the subsequent rounds.
Mankessim SHS garnered momentum in the second round to make impressive marks, with Swedru SHS closing up the margins.
In the third and final round, Swedru SHS put up a great dexterity to keep hopes alive in the fifth edition of the oratory contest.
Adisadel College, known for its strong performance in previous years, put up a tough fight but ultimately fell short against the relentless Swedru SHS team. The three other schools in the contest also demonstrated commendable knowledge and skills, making the contest a highly competitive and engaging event.
