Afro-gospel artiste Joseph Matthew is spicing things up with a live rendition of his hit single 'Nyame Ye' which literally translates as 'God is Good.'
This new version showcases his impressive live performance skills and versatility as a musician.
Known for his infectious energy and puissant vocals, Joseph Matthew takes centre stage with the Abusua Band backing him up.
Together, they create an enchanting soundscape with searing guitar riffs, deep bass lines, and infectious drum beats that breathe new life into the beloved song.
'Nyame Ye,' originally released in 2020, is considered the breakout hit for the UK-based Ghanaian musician. This live rendition goes beyond Matthew’s usual Afro-Gospel style, demonstrating his artistic range.
The Abusua Band deserves equal credit for their energetic performance that perfectly complements the ‘Blessed’ crooner’s own.
Meanwhile, on June 26, Joseph Matthew will release his debut single for 2024. The song dubbed ‘ Fear No Evil’ will be featured on his debut album ‘Solid Rock’ alongside songs such as Nyame Ye, Blessed, Not Alone, The Name, My Story, Hallelujah and Promise Land which will be released later next year.
