Ghanaian forward Raymond Asante is set to sign for Belgium Jupiler Pro League side RC Sporting Charleroi, Joy Sports can confirm.
The 20-year-old is set to join the Belgian outfit on a season-long loan for the 2024/25 season from Italian Serie A side Udinese.

The forward scored 21 goals and provided 12 assists as Udinese’s U19s sealed Primavera 1 promotion last season.

Asante was a standout performer for Udinese's youth side last season as he powered the club's U-19 side to promotion to the Primavera 1.
The forward had an exceptional season, notching an impressive tally of 21 goals while adding up 12 assists across all competitions.
Joy Sports can confirm the Ghanaian has been training with Charleroi for pre-season ahead of the official signing of the deal.
Asante is expected to put pen to paper on a loan deal in the coming days for a first taste of top-flight football in Europe.
