The Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, is leaving no stone unturned in his bid to engage the people for December's Presidential elections.
After the mammoth unveiling of his running mate, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh in Kumasi on Tuesday, Dr. Bawumia is already in northern Ghana to pitch camp for the next few weeks.
He left Kumasi for Tamale immediately after the outdooring, and by Wednesday morning, he had already started what will be a series of community engagements in the five northern regions in the coming two weeks.

Dr. Bawumia's campaign, so far, has been consultative, energetic and grassroots-based, as he engages with traditional rulers, identifiable groups and community members on the streets, markets and in their homes.
It is not likely he will depart from same routine, considering the impact it made in the first phase of the campaign.
Dr. Bawumia's running mate, NAPO, is also expected to hit the ground running by starting community engagements.
