Black Queens forward Princella Adubea is confident about the team's chances ahead of their upcoming friendly on Saturday.
Ghana will face Japan at the Go Go Curry Stadium on Saturday, July 7.
The game is the first high-profile game for the senior women's national team in a while with Japan ranked in the top 10 of the FIFA ranking.
However, Adubea, who is making a return to the national team after an injury layoff is hopeful the Queens will be unfazed by their opposition's high rank.
"The Japanese side are a good side but we are going to play as a team together so we need to be compact and focused," she said.
"We don’t really care about their world ranking as I know we can match them. We are going to play as a team and I know at the end of the day we are going to achieve what we deserve."
The game will be an opportunity for Nora Hauptle to monitor her players ahead of Ghana's particiaption in next year's Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
