The Ashanti Region, known as a stronghold of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), is preparing to host the official unveiling of Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh as the running mate to Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
This was announced by the National Organiser of the NPP, Henry Nana Boakye, also known as Nana B, in a recent Facebook post.
The NPP is expected to provide details soon regarding the event where Dr Opoku Prempeh will be formally introduced.
This includes information on the date, time, venue, and other relevant specifics.
“Ashanti Region to host the official outdooring ceremony of the running mate to the next President, H.E Bawumia,” he posted.
