The US ambassador to Ghana, Virginia Palmer, has lauded Ga Mantse Nii Teiko Tsuru II for his outstanding leadership qualities.
Ambassador Palmer praised the overlord of the Ga State for his unique leadership since assuming office and emphasized the need to commend him.
Last Friday, the esteemed diplomat visited the Ga Traditional Council in Accra, where she expressed great satisfaction with Nii Teiko Tsuru II's efforts to promote unity among the Ga people.
She particularly praised the traditional leader for his approach to chieftaincy resolutions and encouraged him to continue fostering collaboration.
Ambassador Palmer also highlighted Ga Mantse's commitment to girl child development and leadership, applauding his initiatives to increase girls' enrollment in education.
She pointed to the renovation of the King Tackie Tawiah Senior High School as a prime example of his dedication to girl-child education.
In their discussion, Ga Mantse urged the United States to support the Ga State with resources and expertise for waste management, a current focus of his leadership.
He expressed his gratitude to the US ambassador and her team for the visit, noting that it would further strengthen the cordial relationship between their offices.
