Luckweb Ghana, operators of Daywa 5/39 lottery has donated a sum of 17,000 Ghana cedis towards the surgery of Jesse Kudzordzi, a four-year-old boy suffering from Tracheoesophagael Fistula and Esophageal Atresia. He was diagnosed with the condition right from birth and is only able to feed through a tube connected to his stomach.
According to his mother, Millicent Kudzordzi, the surgery was supposed to be done at age two, but they could not get it done due to financial constraints, Life has been unbearable for her family due to the condition of her son. She is unable to work as she has to always blend his food and pump it through the tubes to keep him healthy.
After making a plea on TV, Luckweb Ghana took the bold step to support the surgery of Jesse Kudzordzi with the full amount of GHS 17,000 which will be conducted at the Korlebu Teaching Hospital, Accra.
According to the Marketing Manager of Luckweb Ghana, supporting such a worthy course falls in line with the operations of Daywa 5/39 Games.
"Our mantra is to give peoples’ dreams a chance and offer hope to Ghanaians. We are very humbled and fulfilled to offer hope to Jesse Kudzordzi. Children are the future leaders and their welfare must be treated with utmost importance. We believe supporting this surgery is life-changing and we know that it will give him a normal and happy life and also soothe his family," she added.
Luckweb Ghana’s Daywa lottery Games is regulated by the National Lottery Authority and is also a subsidiary of Tenlot Group, a global lottery operator widely recognized for its philanthropic activies through responsible gaming.
