Court has remanded a Nigerian national, Winner Terry who allegedly stabbed his colleague in the neck at Buduburam.
This took place over an argument about how much musicians pay songwriters.
The 27-year-old is currently in police custody and ordered to reappear in court on July 1, 2024.
The prosecutor stated that on June 20, 2024, the victim visited the suspect's room for a casual conversation.
During their discussion, they argued about how much songwriters charge for writing songs for musicians.
The prosecutor mentioned that a friend intervened to stop the argument as tensions escalated.
However, ten minutes later, the suspect, Winner Terry, broke a beer bottle and stabbed the victim in the neck.
After the court proceedings, the victim Seth Andrews spoke to Adom News.
He explained that all induction shows that the accused had an ulterior motive adding that it could not have been only because of music.
