Presbyterian Boys Secondary School (PRESEC), came up against Ashaiaman SHS, Achimota School and Accra Academy in the Greater Accra Regional Championship finals of the 2024 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ).
The contest took place at the Achimota School in Accra.
PRESEC shrugged off competition from St Mary SHS, Tema Methodist and Chemu SHS to book a spot in the regional championship finals on Thursday after thrashing its competitors, leaving them no chance to catch up.
Achimota School secured a resounding victory when they battled fiercely against St Thomas Aquinas, St John’s Grammar School and West Africa SHS on Thursday to progress to the finals of the regional championship.
Ashaiman SHS did not take it lightly in the early hours of Thursday as they competed in a fierce battle against O’Reilly SHS, Wesley Grammar School and Frafraha Community SHS to progress to the finals of the regional championship.
Accra Academy secured an easy victory after they beat competition from Accra Girls SHS and Accra High School on Thursday night to progress to the finals of the regional championship.
