Gospel artist Nana Osei, popularly known as Nacee, has responded to allegations made by his colleague musician Broda Sammy.
This comes after Broad Sammy allegedly mentioned Nacee's position as a board member as the reason he could not win any TGMA award.
Speaking with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz, Nacee described Broda Sammy as an “empty barrel”; thus, he has no time to waste on him.
"He wasn't part of the Aseda challenge. After his comment, I didn't confront him because my time was very precious. Moreover, I don't have time chasing empty barrels", he said on Hitz FM.
He also mentioned he is not ready to discuss the issue between himself and Broda Sammy.
"Today is not the right time to talk about the issue but at the right time, I will.”
There is an adage that states ‘the first to present a case at court, doesn't warrant a not guilty verdict’," he quoted.
"Had he stopped to read the notice on what is going on, he would have advised himself because whenever he makes a post, people insult him and it’s not something I like."
Although he is not on talking terms with Broda Sammy, he goes on to express his admiration for him.
"He is one person who is gifted and we need people like that in the kingdom", he added.
Nacee went on to advise his colleague to be mindful of his utterances.
"He should advise himself because some of these utterances are very dangerous. Imagine you saying ‘Unless Nacee dies, you can never win an award’, that is a threat and the police can hold you accountable. It's an award show so why should someone die for you to get it?", he quizzed.
When asked whether he would be open to a collaboration with Broda Sammy, Nacee said “We will take it from there.”
