Ghana's Black Queens will face the Nadeshiko of Japan in a highly anticipated international Women’s Friendly game at the Kanazawa Go-Go Curry Stadium on July 13 in Tokyo, Japan.
Having secured qualification for the 2024 Women's African Cup of Nations (WAFCON) by defeating Namibia in the final qualifying round, the game against Japan will serve as an opportunity to maintain their form ahead of the tournament.
The fixture is also expected to allow head coach Nora Häuptle to assess potential new additions to the squad.
For the Japanese team, this match serves as a crucial part of their preparations for the Paris Olympics games.
Ghana's Black Queens, currently ranked sixty-fourth (64) in the world and 4th in Africa, are eager to seize every opportunity to enhance their performance after failing to secure a ticket to Paris.
The Queens fell short in their attempt losing on aggregate to Zambia who went on to eliminate Morocco.
