Rapper Strongman has expressed regret for involving Fella Makafui in his lyrical feud with Medikal in 2019.
According to him, although he did throw shots at Fella Makafui solely because Medikal included his (Strongman) partner Nana Ama in the beef, he did not like that about himself.
Speaking in an interview on TV3, he said that “I always want the beef to be just me and you, you get me? Like right now I just saw Fela and we have to vibe, you get me? But when we have to vibe that means when we are doing beef songs we shouldn't involve you know.”
“As I was saying I only do replies. So I only reply because Medikal mentioned my wife. Yeah. But deep down I was not happy with it because insulting an innocent girl is not part of it. I didn't like it,” Strongman said.
He cautioned other rappers against dragging their rivals' significant others into any beef they might have.
Strongman emphasised that he prefers beef to remain solely between the involved artists, without dragging unrelated individuals into the fray.
“It's me and you. So you face me and I face you. If we're a man like myself we face each other and that's all,” Strongman said.
In 20219, Strongman and Medikla went at each other one weekend weeks after the Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale clash at the VGMA.
The beef resulted in the release of four songs namely; ‘To Whom It May Concern’ and ‘Last Burial’ by Medikal and ‘Don’t Try’ and Immortal by Strongman.
