Ghana Football Association President, Kurt Okraku, has promised continuous support for Ghanaian clubs participating in CAF Inter-club competitions.
He highlighted the recent achievements of Dreams FC and Medeama, who ended the country's years of continental disappointments by qualifying for the group stages of the Confederation Cup and Champions League, respectively.
"As we have always done for all our clubs who play in Africa, the FA will continue to offer our support both financially and logistically to all," Kurt said as quoted by Ghanafa.org.
"In the case of Dreams FC, the support from the FA included fueling the generators at the stadium to enable evening games."
Dreams topped Group C and became the first Ghanaian club in 20 years to reach the semi-finals. However, their journey ended after a 3-0 defeat in Kumasi by Zamalek, despite a goalless draw in the first leg in Cairo.
They could return to the competition if they win this season's FA Cup.
Medeama finished at the bottom of Group D in the Champions League, managing just one win and are currently 12 points adrift of top spot in the Ghana Premier League.
Samartex stand a chance of representing Ghana in next season's Champions League, as they are currently seven points clear at the top of the table.
