The Director of the Institute of Statistical, Social, and Economic Research (ISSER), Professor Peter Quartey, recently led a networking session in New Delhi, emphasising ISSER's dedication to building global partnerships.
The event, hosted by ReFinD in collaboration with the Inclusion Economics India Centre (IEIC), aimed to strengthen ties with research communities in Asia, particularly focusing on financial inclusion.

During the session, Prof. Quartey highlighted the importance of collaboration and introduced ReFinD's third request for proposals (RFP3), showcasing ISSER's research capabilities, publications, and training programs.
The gathering, which included international researchers and stakeholders, provided a platform for discussions on fostering enduring collaborations in financial inclusion research.
Vinay Nagaraju, Executive Director of IEIC, and Urmi Bhattacharya, IEIC's Research Lead, expressed their enthusiasm for future collaborations with ReFinD and Asian research institutions.
Prof. Quartey also emphasised the significance of the networking session in promoting awareness about ReFinD RFP3 and the collaboration opportunities available at ISSER.

The event, held on April 23, facilitated open discussions and one-on-one engagements, fostering deeper connections and paving the way for impactful research partnerships.
This session is part of a broader initiative aimed at promoting research collaborations, with a specific focus on advancing financial inclusion efforts globally.
The ISSER team included ReFInD Post-Doctoral Fellow Dr. Daniel Osarfo, Communications Manager, Vicentia Quartey, and Research Assistant Derek Walt-Collins.
