Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, is gearing up to kick off his political campaign on Monday, April 29, ahead of the December general elections.
Dennis Miracles Aboagye, the Director of Communications for the Bawumia for President 2024 Campaign, disclosed this in a press statement.
The campaign will commence in the Eastern Region and will cover all sixteen regions over the next month.
During his campaign tour, Bawumia plans to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including traditional leaders, the clergy, youth groups, traders, drivers, farmers, students, and business owners. The statement highlights that Bawumia aims to interact with citizens from various sectors of society, including visits to marketplaces to engage with both traders and consumers.
Ghanaians are encouraged to give Dr. Bawumia a warm reception as he embarks on his campaign tour across the country.
The tour is expected to provide an opportunity for the flagbearer to connect with the electorate and share his vision and policies for the country ahead of the upcoming elections.
