Former Ghana international, Mohammed Polo, believes Karim Zito is good enough to be the head coach of the Black Stars.
According to him, Zito's performances with Dreams FC in the CAF Confederation Cup are a testament to the competence of the trainer.
The former Asante Kotoko coach has guided the Dawu-based side to the semifinal of the continental competition and could secure a place in the final with a win against Zamalek on Sunday.
"Our football is suffering. As for coaching, everyone is a coach; anyone at all can be a coach, but not all coaches can advance a team," said Polo in an interview with Joy Sports.
"Today, Karim Zito can hit his chest that he's been able to advance Dreams FC to the semi-final of the CAF Confederation Cup because others could not do that.
"Through that, his CV shows that he can be advanced to the highest level which is the Black Stars level so he can be progressed, but there are coaches who haven't done anything and they are given the job to do."
The Ghana Football Association recently appointed Otto Addo as head coach of the Black Stars with the former player returning for a second stint.
His first two games ended with no wins as Ghana fell to Nigeria before drawing against Uganda during the March international break.
