Ghana international Abdul Fatawu Issahaku says scoring a hat-trick for the first time for the club felt 'amazing.'
The 20-year-old found the back of the net three times as the Foxes dominated Southampton, inching closer to clinching the Championship title.
Issahaku initiated the scoring in the 25th minute and followed up with two more goals in the second half, propelling Leicester to a commanding 5-0 victory at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday night.
This remarkable hat-trick marked a milestone for the young Ghanaian, who joined Leicester on loan from Sporting CP during the summer transfer window.
He was involved in four out of the five goals on the night as he also set up Jamie Vardy.
Speaking after the game, the right winger told Leicester's media team: "I don't think I can just tell you how I feel because it's so amazing and I feel so happy."
"This is what we are here to do and we are just going to do more to get to where we want. I am so happy.
"We have come a long way to lose what is in our hands...we will keep going till we get to where we want."
