Zonda Tec Ghana Limited has officially launched the latest addition to its fleet of equipment and cars to the Ghanaian market named as “SHANTUI”.
Managing Director for the company, Yang Yang, said the expansion of the company’s operations in Ghana will help create hundreds of jobs.
She assured that Zonda Tec Ghana Limited will continue to assembly its equipment in the country and train more youth to acquire skills.
"We are poised to supporting the youth in Ghana to get more skills and jobs. Zonda Tec Ghana Limited has been supporting the country through the provision of good trucks for the mining sector of the economy", she stressed.
Ghana's Ambassador to China, Wilfred Nii Okai Hammond pledged his support to aid in expanding investments to reduce unemployment.
"Ever since I went to China, I have seen some good works they are doing there and I think we can replicate same here in Ghana. I am sure with the help of the Ghana Bauxite Company some of these trucks can be acquired to help the economy at large”, he said.
The new Shantui trucks and equipment range, according to the company, is the best and toughest new version of construction trucks in Ghana.
Zonda Tec Ghana Indicated that, the trucks and equipment were built with Africa and Ghana’s tough road conditions in mind and as such urged the mining, transport and haulage industry to purchase the trucks for a good return on investment.
Shantui product covers over 10 categories, including bulldozers, loaders, excavators, road machinery, and concrete machinery, as well as spare parts.
