The comedian, born Benson Nana Yaw Oduro, was arrested on the evening of Sunday, March 24 after he hit four people - an older woman with her two grandchildren and a motor rider - with his car, in an accident at Kakraba, in Kasoa.
Funny Face was put before the court, on Tuesday, March 26, on charges of drunk driving and careless driving.
He is expected to spend two weeks in police custody while waiting for the next court appearance.
This comes after the actor was involved in an accident in Kakraba, Kasoa in the Central Region.
