It was history for the Black Satellites on Friday night as their 1-0 win over Uganda saw them clinch a gold medal at the 2023 African Games.
A keenly-contested game at the Accra Sports Stadium in the final only had one winner - Ghana - Jerry Afriyie being the difference maker in the fixture.
The forward fired a low shot just outside the box to beat the Uganda goalkeeper to break the deadlock and hand victory to Ghana.
