The Agricultural Development Bank (ADB PLC) has once again made Ramadan donations to the National Chief Imam and other key stakeholders across the country, reinforcing its commitment to supporting communities.
The Managing Director of ADB, Alhaji Alhassan Yakubu-Tali, led the delegation to the residence of the National Chief Imam, Dr. Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, for the presentation of essential food items such as bags of rice and brown sugar, as well as cash to support the fasting of the people in the community.
In making the presentation, Alhaji Alhassan Yakuu-Tali indicated that as a CSR-oriented Development Bank, ADB has always found it necessary to associate itself with important events such as Ramadan by extending a helping hand to the needy.
“We are here once again in the spirit of Ramadan to fulfill our CSR commitment to this important community through our revered father, the National Chief Imam, Dr. Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu,” the MD stated.
“Ramadan is the month of charity and spiritual growth, and ADB is committed to maintaining its tradition of donating items to the Muslim community in Ghana to help feed the poor and facilitate the spiritual growth of the nation,” he added.
Receiving the donations, Dr. Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu expressed his heartfelt gratitude to ADB for its continuous support.
He praised the bank's efforts in making a meaningful difference during the sacred month and offered prayers for peace, well-being, and the prosperity of the nation as a whole.
Ramadan donations are part of the bank’s CSR strategy of giving back to communities as a way of highlighting the importance of kindness, and fostering a sense of unity and care across the nation. Similar support has been extended to selected customers and other key stakeholders across the country.
It is believed that the support will also go a long way toward strengthening the bond between ADB and its stakeholders, including the communities it serves.
