The police have questioned media personality Godsbrain Smart aka Caption Smart over his comment that the late Ejisu MP John Kumah was poisoned.
According to Joy News source, Mr Smart was questioned by police investigators in the presence of his lawyer after an official complaint by the late MP's wife, Apostle Lilian Kumah.
The source said Mr Smart during questioning mentioned Oheneba Nana Asiedu of Wontumi TV as his source of the information.
Apostle Lilian Kumah has already denied the claims that her husband died of poisoning, insisting he had been battling a terminal ailment.
She has formally complained to the police about her husband's death and the claims that he was poisoned.
Following Mr John Kumah's shocking death on Thursday, March 7, Oheneba Asiedu made an appearance on Wontumi TV's sports show where he suggested that the poisoning occurred after consuming guinea fowl that he was served with after campaign activities.
The source said Oheneba Nana Asiedu has also been questioned today by police investigators.
The outcome of the investigations will determine if there is enough basis to arrest Captain Smart.
