Ghana overcame a scare in their opening game of the men's beach volleyball event at the ongoing African Games against Togo.
Team Ghana clinched a win after coming from behind to beat Togo in two of the three sets played.
Togo won the first set of the game which was played at Laboma beach before Ghana recovered to seal the all-important win.
One of Ghana's players on the day, Paul Akan, explained the decision behind the team's slow start to the game.

Ghana will play two more games before the day ends with a fixture against Senegal and Burkina Faso next on the list.
In the women's event, Ghana's pair of (Corporal) Juliana Aryee and Charity Torku beat The Gambia in their first game.
Ghana recovered from a first-set loss to prevail. They face Burkian Faso in their next game later today.
